During the Spring of 2021, Westlake Nation lost two of their own. Two Lifetime Chaps. Two Captains. Two sons. Two Brothers. In May of 2021, Westlake Football formally announced The Jake and Jackson 3616 West- lake Football Fighting Heart Award. This award will be presented annually to the player who best exempli- fies the traits that Jake Ehlinger and Jackson Coker displayed on a daily basis. Westlake Football installed a special windscreen near the entrance to Ebbie Neptune Field at Chaparral Stadium honoring the spirit of Jake and Jackson.
