Welcome to Saulmanphotos.com and Design. Our web site provides a lot of information about what you can expect from us, but we wanted to provide this booklet to give you more of an in-depth peek at what we can do together.
Company History: In the year 2000, I had the opportunity to work on the Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia as part of the IBM team. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for photography. Equipped with a digital camera, I captured countless moments from the games. On my return flight, a fellow passenger, who happened to be from ESPN, noticed me reviewing my photos on my laptop. Intrigued, he praised my skills and encouraged me to pursue sports photography with dedication.
Inspired by his words, I transitioned from a basic point-and-shoot camera to more professional equipment. With a stroke of luck, I won $5,000 on a slot machine in Las Vegas, which enabled me to invest in better gear. I began pho- tographing my co-worker’s city league baseball team during their games, and this experience opened doors for me. Through a connection with the team’s catcher, I gained access to Westlake High School’s football program.
During this period, I also worked as a freelance photographer for the Round Rock Leader newspaper, covering vari- ous high school sports events. As the years went by, my focus shifted primarily to photographing sports at Westlake, and I gradually moved away from newspaper assignments. In recent years, I expanded my services to include social media graphic design, offering a comprehensive package to Westlake.
In 2023, I decided to rebrand my company and extend its services to other schools. I felt that it was time to share the expertise and attention we had gained at Westlake with other deserving institutions. I have been fortunate to collabo- rate with a talented team of colleagues who have agreed to contribute their skills and support my company’s growth. Their introductions will be shared in due course.
Today, we stand at the forefront of expanding our business, and you have the opportunity to be part of our journey from the very beginning.
