EUROMONITOR INTERNATIONAL'S TOP 100 CITY DESTINATIONS RANKING
Euromonitor International’s Top 100 City Destination Ranking is now in its 10th year, and
it seems a tting time to merge our cities and travel trends research. Cities are not only a major catalyst for economic and tourism growth, but are also hotbeds of innovation, new business models and start-ups. We have therefore decided to combine our cities research with travel trends to provide the most forward-looking perspective on the future growth in the travel industry.
In the Top 100 City Destination Ranking,
you will see which cities lead the world and
their respective regions, listed in order of importance. The ranking is based on Euromonitor
International’s research in 100 countries and is based on the number of international arrivals that spend 24 hours or more in a city. Data is based on part year data for 2017 projected to the year end, and we are also delighted to include forecasts for 2025 for the rst time.
