It is an esteemed pleasure for me to welcome you to the 10th Annual Mother’s Day Award Concert. I am extremely grateful to Almighty God for this milestone. In these 10 years, we had the privilege and opportunity to honor some of our pillars and unsung heroes around the Turks and Caicos Islands.
We take this time to congratulate each mother that is being honored tonight. We would like to thank every one of you for your labor and sacrifice in church and nation building over the years.
Mothers are the glue that keeps everything together. Mothers are nurses, teachers, chefs, caretakers, mechanics, singers, actors, security guards, counselors, tailors, and so much more.
A mother’s love is the fuel that enables a
child to believe in themselves. A mother’s
faith encourages us to do the impossible.
Their arms are always open when you need a hug, their heart is always understanding when you need a friend, and their gentle eyes are stern when you need a lesson in tough love. Their strength and love guide you and give you the wings you need to fly.
Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts
hold them forever.
Give them the roses while they live, trying to cheer them on, because useless are the flowers that you give them after the soul is gone.
We dedicate this day to you, just to say thank you for your love, support, and sacrifice. We honor you and appreciate you.
