 To My Other Brother
David I knew you from a child,
Yet it was only later in our adulthood
You became my other brother
I enjoyed visiting with you,
Praying with you and for you
During your time in Grand Turk
I recall our final conversation
During your last medical trip
Although the butterflies in my stomach Signaled this was going to be our last time together You reassured me that you would come back And you kept your promise, although for a little while Because your loving Father was waiting
For you to come and be at his side
Sleep on David my other brother
Your journey on this earth is over
In my heart you’ll always stay
Until we reunite on that glad reunion day.
Love always,
Your other sister Zalmunna
To My Family
I cannot let you grieve for me, For those who love must let us go. In comfort, please believe I’m free,
From all the pain life can bestow, As I begin my world anew, Consider not what used to be, I’m sending happy smiles to you While I enjoy eternity.
Lord, bless the home
From which I came,
Yet brush each lonely hour away, With fond remembrance of my name, And a sunshine for a newer day. Look to the wind to find me there, Beside the hardest thing you do. I’ve left my love within this prayer I’m always watching over you.
