A Tribute To My Friend -Rosemary
Beryl, thank you!
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, for the life and witness of my dear friend, sister and confidant, Mrs. Beryl Gibson!
My life has been greatly enriched as a result of our friendship which started when we joined the employ of the Bahamas Development Bank, in early March of 1981. I treasure the memories of our good times with lots of laughter, we had our sorrows and shed our tears, we prayed, traveled, expressed our feelings, shared secrets, joys and aspirations.
Beryl you truly exemplified the life of Christ and served Him willingly; helping all those you came in contact with. You loved your family dearly, Elke and Koochi you treasured, and talked of Gippi fondly. You were always generous, gracious and kind, showing genuine love and concern. Your home was always opened to my family and countless others. I will miss our outings and your telephone calls after preparing your specialty soups, to “bring ya bowl”. And yes, thanks for being a great listener!
Sleep on dear Beryl and take your rest. I will miss you, but I will see you again! May your soul, rest in peace. Amen.
