 A Tribute To My Mother
Proverbs 31 describes my Mother in every way: a strong-minded, proud woman of high moral standards. You’ve instilled in us the love for God and His word from an early age. Church was always a great part of our lives.
From and early age, you’ve taught us many valuable lessons, especially the importance of having a stable job. Many days and nights I watched you sewing, cooking and baking. You always took your time to do everything and when you were through, it was well done.
I will miss seeing you keep time with that finger held high when your favorite song is sung, the Country music played on Saturday mornings, the singing in bass throughout the house, the game shows, and even the sports games. Our trips to our family abroad will be different now, for your presence was the highlight of it all.
The last few weeks we spent together will always be dear to me. We had a chance to spend time together and talk like never before. You’re with Jesus now. No more pain, no more work, no more cares of this life.
I love you Mommy. My life will forever be changed because you are no longer with us, but you will always be in my heart. I will never forget you or the lessons you’ve taught me.
May your soul rest in peace.
Your daughter, Alexandria
