Celebrating Anarean Gardiner Missick 92 Years of Grace, Strength and Service
At 92 years old, Anarean Gardiner Missick
Together with her husband, she established and
stands as a beacon of strength, wisdom, and unwavering faith in God. Born to the late Robert Gardiner and Ceola Musgrove, she grew up in the quiet settlement of Kew, North Caicos, where simplicity shaped a life rich in spiritual depth and family values.

Her mother, a devoted member of the Church of God of Prophecy, ensured that spiritual enrichment was a core part of daily life. From a young age, Anarean came to know the Lord, committing herself fully to His service. She embraced her faith early and never looked back.
Prophecy, bringing back with her the same fire, the same shout, the same dance, and the same praise.
She married the late Christopher Missick, and together they built a home grounded in love, discipline, and faith. Their union was blessed with many children, including a set of twins. A hardworking woman, Anarean upheld strong biblical principles and instilled them in her children. Her home echoed with scriptures, worship songs, and fervent prayer. Sunday school, morning and evening worship, and weekly church services were not optional they were the foundation of family life.
Even as her body grew frail with time, her spirit remained strong. No challenge could stop her from worshipping her God. She continues to be a woman of prayer, a voice of wisdom, and a proud matriarch of her family. She often boasts about her children and grandchildren, expressing joy and gratitude for the legacy she’s built.
At 92, Mother Anarean Missick is the oldest living member of the Musgrove family a title she wears with grace. She is a pillar in the community, a watchman on the walls of Zion, and an example of a life wholly surrendered to Christ.
Evangelism was not just her ministry it was her heartbeat. Those who grew up in the community remember her unmistakable voice ringing out in early morning street meetings, singing:
Her favorite saying?
“If you miss me singing down here, you will find me shouting up there!”
“Meeting tonight, meeting tonight, meeting on the old campground…”
And truly, we believe she will.
With a voice filled with passion and conviction, she led many to Christ. She prayed for the sick and saw them healed, she comforted the hurting, and she labored tirelessly in the vineyard of the Lord.
