THE INTERCESSIONS
We have gathered to worship God and to declare with calm assurance. “Jesus lives!
Life, nor death, nor powers of hell, part us now from Christ for ever. Alleluia!
We have come together in the faith of the Living Christ, the King of Glory.
We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
We give thanks to God for the life of our beloved Sister Cindy.
We joyfully affirm with praise and thanksgiving, “Yes God is good!”
If we live, we live to the Lord and if we die, we die to the Lord, therefore whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. Praise be to His holy Name!
Praise be to His Holy Name! Our lips shall shout for joy, for His love is over all that He has made. Blessed be His glorious Name forever! Alleluia!
O Lord, with never ceasing-prayer we commend our souls to Your continual care
Assured that You through life will save and show Yourself beyond the grave our Everlasting Friend.
Lord, You consoled Martha and Mary in their distress; draw near to us who mourn for our Sister Cindy and dry the tears of those who weep.
Hear us, Lord.
You wept at the grave of Lazarus, your friend; comfort us in our sorrow.
Hear us, Lord.
You raised the dead to life; raise us to life eternal, we humbly beseech You.
Hear us, Lord.
You promised paradise to the thief who repented; grant us the joys of Heaven
Hear us, Lord.
Give rest, O Christ, to Your servant with Your saints.
Where sorrows and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting.
