ASHLEY MEAD
Many of our members are already aware of the extremely sad & totally unexpected news that Ashley Mead passed away on Tuesday 4th August 2020.
Ash was one of the most dedicated volunteers we have had both as a member to Queensland Sporting Clays and as an Executive person at Brisbane & on the QSCA Board.
He was always ready to help out whatever the problem was and to help make our sport and venues a better place for everyone,
Many members would not be aware of the work Ashley covered in his time behind the scenes, but I can attest that as someone who worked with him over the years & I cannot express enough Ashley’s part in making our Association & Sport greater for all.
It is a testament to his selfless dedication, along with the endless hours he spent behind the scenes with our sport in helping us to evolve by sharing his knowledge of safety & process which advanced our professional standing both at Club & State level in Queensland.
One of our true gentlemen and one who will be very much missed on a personal level by many.
RIP Ash
