CHILDERS SPORTING CLAYS REPORT - by Max Whiting
FEBRUARY 2020
The first newsletter this year and Childers Sporting Clays are off to a fantastic start. Our membership is heading in the right direction with several new members joining and full of enthusiasm to be part of our club. They have brought along 2 local businesses pledging sponsorship for separate monthly competition shoots.
Don’t forget CSC are hosting the QLD state titles this year in September, and because of this Childers shooting grounds are undergoing some fairly major changes by installing a large Dam, ground clearing and general earth works, we commenced straight after Christmas and have only missed 2 weekends. Rowhan, Club President has made available an excavator from his business Tiggy Customs every weekend to keep the work going forward – fantastic.
CSC will continue to move forward and report progress on developments in coming newsletters.
Good shooting
Max Whiting
