We pay to be entertained & Laang did not let us down. The last set of 100 targets had great variation with the ring movement of at least 90 degrees & if the ring position could not cater for this change, the traps & targets were moved making the second day a totally di erent set of targets. Well done Laang this was a major exercise to make this happen in the hours left after the last shot on the rst day & have all set up ready to go on Sunday.
Summary Day 2
Sundays courses proved to be a little more di cult, if you could get o peg one on the Promatic ground clean a good score awaited. This proved di cult for most, shooting down on driven and quartering targets it was very easy to go o line or shoot over the top an excellent example of world class target setting. Chris Brown opened with a 23, Mathew Libbis was a little o colour early on in his rst round but pulled himself together for 22, the old fox John Younger opened with a 25 to close the gap. Junior Xavier Russell continued on from his 94 on Saturday with strong 24 rst up with Mark Du-Rose hot on his heels. At the end of the 4 rounds day 2 Chris Brown had held is nerve nished on 95 for a 2 day total of 195 he could beaten, Mathew Libbis shoot 2 perfect rounds of 25 on Sunday to give him also 95 for the day, Senior John Younger shoot a very strong 97 to nish 3rd overall with 10 target led in seniors that is great shooting under pressure. Anthony Panetta who was in 7th place at the end Saturday shot 95 Sunday to move into 4th place.
The Juniors had their own competition going on. Xavier had a 6 target lead on Saturday but Mark was determined to change that shooting a fantastic 97 on Sunday to close the gap but Xavier with 92 held on to win Juniors by 1 Target with both of them nishing in the open top 10.

New SCA Medals
The New SCA Medals made the debut at this event for the Grades. They were well received with the positive comments back from the members as an uplift from the previous plaques. For places 1st – 2nd & 3rd they were supplied in their Gold, Silver & Bronze colours & for 4th & 5th positions in the second photo.
The Final results at the end of the day on Sunday.
Again, a very big thankyou from all at SCA to the Laang Club for putting on a very enjoyable & memorable event for 2020.
During the event Collumbo Shooting Supplies had a display tent providing goods for our members to browse & they also donated 2 sets of moulded ear plugs to two lucky members drawn from the attendees at the event. One on Saturday & one on Sunday.
At the end of the Presentations, we had the 12G Armed Shotgun supplied to us by Perazzi Australia that was to be drawn from all the competitors who participated as this event. There were three stipulations to be in the draw:
1. If you made the Podium it excluded you from the draw
2. You had to be a competitor
3. You had to be present when your name was drawn.
After Four attempts at drawing names out it was the fth draw that produced a winner who was present
Good Luck to Rolf Bugden from South Australia on the win. Winners are grinners.
Also, before we close o , a big thankyou to our Event Partners who supported this event & made the Trophy table worthy for our Podium placings – Outdoor Sporting Agency (OSA) – Perazzi Australia & Caesar Guerini – Outdoor Trading Company (OTC) - Collumbo Shooting Supplies
