The 2021 QSCA State English Sporting event held at BSC attracted 81 Competitors. Perfect shooting weather with Cloud to keep the heat down as the recent rain would have raised the humidity if the sun had come out in full force.

Squads Backing Up on time
Unfortunately the State body & clubs have been receiving negative comments from competitors regarding number one stands being left empty of squads.
High Gun – Jason Pole
This is causing the day to run out beyond reasonable expectations. It is indicative of all competitors to be backing up the next squad on stand one, rather than waiting to be called for in the car park & then make their way up to the shooting grounds.
Please be aware the next State events will be marked for a specific time for each squad to be on their next rotation at stand one with their expected finish time. I fully understand & appreciate the constructive comments in this regard as members like to be at the presentations, Club workers like to be packed up before dark, but everyone likes to be on the road in a timely manner to get home to their families.
Anyone who has shot at an International event knows you are given a specific start time to be at the shooting stand. As our numbers increase, we will have to conduct

ourselves similarly to allow a finish time before it gets dark.
Going forward please be aware of this, as we would not like to disqualify any member from an event who is holding up proceedings by not being at their designated station for their start time.
