Hydrophilic
§ And hydrophobic surface can be made hydrophilic by using several preparation processes:
§ Scrubbing: a rougher surface will appear more hydrophilic
§ Chemical preparation: super hydrophilic copper surface can be obtained by:
§ 30% H2O2 immersion , 10 to 15mn followed by 60°C bake.
§ Wettability of the surface is known through contact angle measurement
§ Knowing and controlling the wettability of the substrate is key for optimizing the wet lamination process
