Fall 2020 Virtual Technical Conference
PCMI First Ever Virtual Conference Held in October!
Special Thanks to Conference Sponsors
PCMI held a Virtual Technical Conference from October 19 – 21, 2020. The Conference included live technical sessions exploring emerging technologies to enhance processes and operations, networking platforms, and on-demand access to all conference recordings..
While live attendance was encouraged, the Virtual Conference provided access to attendees in multiple time zones. All sessions were recorded and provided attendees with immediate access to technical information, presentations, and colleague-to-colleague group conversations. The Virtual Conference offered networking with colleagues worldwide, which is essential to create and enhance business relationships. The Virtual Conference also allowed attendees to discuss and learn how COVID-19 has impacted the PCM industry.
The technical sessions provided a broad overview of the photochemical machining (PCM) process for those new to the industry. For the seasoned professional, the schedule offered opportunities to explore new technologies that can enhance business operations.
The PCMI Virtual Platform gave attendees the chance to attend the Conference without travel expenses generally required for international meetings.
To accommodate multiple registrations for one low price, PCMI created a corporate license. This option allowed more members to benefit from the technical sessions than is possible at an in-person meeting. Attendance increased exponentially, which was a bonus for everyone – mostly the speakers and sponsors who had access to a broader PCM audience.
You can still check out the Virtual Platform to find speaker information, session content, the schedule of presentations, sponsors, company listings, attendees, resources, and event updates.
