By showing men and women in certain ways, it creates a need to live up to those ideals, and the products to assure a successful transition. A new car is portrayed as a lifestyle rather than a mode of transportation.
™Media creates needs that are over exaggerated or not real – fear for safety, or need for the latest, most improved version. Always baiting us to want and desire more.
