Townswomen’s Guilds
Townswomen On The Move
Is it time you took up a new hobby, made new friends, got out and about and had some fun?
Well you can do all this by joining the Royton Townswomen’s Guild. Due to the refurbishment of Royton Town Hall the Guild have temporarily relocated to Thornham St. James Parish Hall, Thornham Lane, Thornham OL2 6UW. They now meet on the third Tuesday of every month and are delighted to have a new home for the foreseea- ble future.
By becoming a member you would have the opportunity to get involved in a number of activities including regularly monthly meetings with interesting Speakers, walking and bowling in the summer, crafts, recreation games evening, knit and natter and a book club (coming shortly) all of which you will
share with likeminded Oldham women. Whilst the Guild is a registered charity itself, it also goes out of its way to support other Charities with fundraising activities throughout the year.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in then why not contact their Chairman Barbara Micklethwaite on 01706 841 759 or at bmanilow07@aol.com and make 2018 a year to remember.
