1-12 NON-QRH ETOPS Signiÿcant System
Window damage is suspected or confirmed. Any air leakage or panel deformation, would require a decent to lowest safe altitude. Aircraft should land at the nearest suitable airport.
The QRH procedure will be completed . If normal pressurization exists and there is no deformation or leakage then the flight can continue with SOC concurrence.
Panel deformed or air leak observed, then descend and plan to land at nearest suitable airport.
Safest course of action may require the flight to divert or return to field.
If crew advises that panel damage or a leak is observed and will have to divert, then SOC will have to necessitate suitable alternate planning.
Advance planning to repair window.
