Reporting to to the the the the City Manager the the the the Development Development Services Services Director oversees all activities of the the the the department Divisions within the the the the Development Development Services Services Department include Planning Building and the recently recreated Economic & Community Development Division This position currently oversees sixty-three (63) department employees and and directly supervises the Planning Director Director Building Director Director Business Manager Account Clerk and and Secretary An additional twenty (20) positions positions have been approved in the the 2019/2020 annual budget with positions positions dedicated to the the new “Rapid Response Team” within the the the the Code Enforcement Unit of the the the the Building the the the the newly recreated Economic and and Community Development Division and and an an an an Associate Planner in in in the the the the Planning Division dedicated to focus on

the General Plan Plan Update and related activities Specific Development Services Director duties include:
