S S THE POSITION

Manager is is is responsible for delivering on on on the District’s Mission Statement and enforcement of of all all District policies procedures the conduct of of all all financial activities and and the the efficient and and economical performance of the the District’s operations This position is is is available due to the the impending retirement of the the long-time General
Manager Mike Yeraka It is is anticipated that the the next General
General
Manager Manager will serve as the the Assistant General
General
Manager Manager for approximately two months to to assist in their transition to to the the General
Manager role Typical duties include:
» Assist the the Board of Directors in in in in making long range plans to to ensure the the District’s continued effectiveness and sustainability » Represent the the the the District in in in in the the the the preparation of of of of contracts agreements reports and budgets while keeping the the the the Board of of of of Directors fully informed of of the progress of of such undertakings » » Articulate the the District’s mission to the the community and solicit support for its objectives » » Recruit retain and and engage an an an effective workforce including necessary technology training ongoing education and and consistent communication » Evaluate existing systems and technology solutions make recommendations to to the Board of Directors as appropriate » » Develop and and maintain strong professional relationships with regulators outside agencies the public and and co-workers » » » Stewardship and and prudent management of Financial and and Human Resources » » Provide direct operational support during emergencies GENERAL MANAGER
