Story 12 On which continent do you think these people reside? What ocean
would they be flying over? Will they likely stay in France a day or
two or much longer?

Story 13 Can you use blanch in a sentence?

Story 14 Does this conductor, or call him a maestro, seem to be conducting a
band or an orchestra? Do you think the musicians are playing rap,
rock, or classical music?

Story 15 If you knew that these geese were Canada geese, would it
necessarily mean that this story takes place in Canada? Why do you
suppose that this story, takes place in the city rather than in the
country? At what time of day would it most likely have occurred?

Story 16 If the robbers' guns fired only blanks, would their crime still be
considered armed robbery? Should their sentence be light being
that their guns did nt have real ammunition? What kind of dogs do
you think the police used to track these criminals to their hiding
place?

Story 17 Why is the farmer angry with the ant? Do you suppose the farmer
may not have been using pesticides to protect his plants from ants,
as well as from other insects?
