25 STUDENTS SERVICES Placement Assistance SLTC faculty and sta assist students with career opportunities in the communications industry at no additional cost. Employment opportunities typically occur in three ways. 1. Representatives from communications companies, and contractors visit SLTC to speak to our students about possible job opportunities available throughout the country. 2. SLTC posts job openings from communications companies around the country on our job boards, emailed to students continually, at the school as well as sends various postings to students via e-mail. 3. Students take the initiative to contact employers on their own. SLTC does not guarantee graduates of this program employment directly or indirectly implied. It is the policy of Southeast Lineman Training Center to aid in the search and acquisition of employment for all graduates equally. Career Preparation All students will learn how to create a professional resumé and cover le er, and send thank you le ers through our Career Planning & Strategies course (CP 101). This class also teaches students how to present themselves during the interview process.
