Using the RAC with an O2 Mask
Certain aircraft require that aircrew have the ability to seamlessly don an oxygen mask while maintaining communications.
This configuration has a secondary mask mic cable that connects into the O2 mask’s
integrated microphone. The user simply has to don their O2 mask and then slide the
selector switch on their headset connector from Boom to Mask.
