 Why a Style Guide?
This style guide will provide our Real Estate Agents with the guidelines for how our brand is visually presented to consumers for the Spring/Summer Season. The purpose of a style guide is to make sure our multiple con- tributors create a clear and cohesive message that reflects our company’s corporate style and ensures brand consistency with every design piece we produce.
Consistent branding allows us to differentiate the properties we are promoting while delivering critical messaging and encouraging loyalty by driving authority and trust in our business. By keeping a tight rein on brand consistency, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Realty can guide customer perception from the onset of the engagement through the buyer decision making process.
Consistency across marketing channels and assets is also valuable to brand recognition in the long-run. Studies have shown that we perceive brands as personifications of companies, affecting our buying decisions. We are also more likely to buy from brands we know because they’re familiar, and we’re all creatures of habit sometimes. And through consistency in branding, that company has delivered and met the customer (everyone wins!).
