The 2014-15 Broncos from Montini, lead by Head Coach Israel Martinez, are currently ranked #10 Nationally and are coming off an 8th place finish at the prestigious Ironman Tournament. Three State Champions return from last year’s team: senior Xavier Montalvo (182) Ironman 5th, senior Vince Turk (145) Ironman 3rd and junior Dylan Duncan (132) Ironman 6th. State runners up include senior Luke Fortuna (152) Junior Freestyle All American and senior Michael Johnson (285) ranked #1 Nationally. Also returning are two time state placers junior Jimmy Pawelski (126) and state qualifier junior Caleb Fortuna (138). New additions that will make an impact for the Broncos are senior Eddie Laviste (160), juniors Chris Holloway (160) and John Embrey (220), and freshman Real Woods (106) Ironman 4th, Holden Heller, Joey Melendez and Luke Bukovsky. The Bron- cos are looking to win the 7th straight Il State Dual Championship this year and are currently ranked #1 in Class 2A.
