In a relationship spanning more than a decade, Sirote helped a business grow from a solo entrepreneurship into a multistate retail company that has sustained three generations. We performed the start-up corporate work for the founder and, as the business became nancially successful, devised strategies to transfer ownership to his four children while minimizing taxes and maximizing liquidity.
With the second generation’s position secure, we turned our attention to the third, setting up gift trusts that maintained the exibility of each family to transfer value in the way that best suited its needs. Ultimately, the company was sold to a third party—and Sirote continues to help the family manage its wealth and secure the future for generations to come.
