Kiwanis Litchfield Park Healthy Classroom Challenge
Thank you for your participation in the 2019 Healthy Classroom Challenge. Litchfield
Park Preschool had 41 entries in the Kiwanis Litchfield Park Healthy Classroom
Challenge, winning first place and a pizza party!
Amazon Wishlist
Thank you for trusting Litchfield Park Preschool to assist with your preschooler's
education foundation. Our literacy and creative play curriculums are equally important
for your child's social, emotional and educational growth. In an effort to continue to
provide students with a variety of manipulatives, dramatic play items and age
appropriate books, we have created an Amazon Wishlist. If you would like to help us
meet our classroom objective to increase our center rotation inventory, please
consider one of the items from our wishlist at http://a.co/c7tzejA.
Returning Student Survey
Parents who want to enroll their child in the 2019-20 school year, please either
complete the survey to confirm your plan to return to the preschool or register in the
lobby by Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Either one of these choices will reserve your
child’s August 2019 enrollment. The 2019-20 preschool classes will start on Monday,
August 5, 2019.
Reminders
April 2019 tuition is due by Friday, March 15, 2019.
Please make sure to remit your child’s April tuition payment by Friday, March 15
to avoid the $15 late fee.
Please remember to check your child’s March 2019 snack calendar.
The snack calendar can be viewed on the parent board located outside the
preschool door or on the Litchfield Park Preschool’s Facebook page.
March is National Nutrition Month!
The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics information and education campaign
encourages us to adopt eating and physical activity plans that focus on
consuming fewer calories, making informed food choices and getting daily
exercise in order to achieve and maintain a healthy weight, reduce the risk of
chronic disease and promote overall health.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Breakfast provides our children with the energy and nutrients that lead to
increased concentration in the classroom. It also provides energy for
activities during the morning and helps to prevent mid-morning slumps.
The cold and flu season is upon us.
We’d like to remind parents to keep your child at home if they are ill.
Please participate in our lost jacket/backpack prevention.
Please write your child’s name on their jackets and backpacks.
Please take your child to the restroom before class.
For the safety of the children, we are unable to open the potty door until
all the children have arrived and we have taken attendance.
