                                         Valentine’s Day Parties
We are having Valentine’s Day parties on Wednesday, February 13 and
Thursday, February 14, 2019. All classes will be exchanging Valentines. Please
write your child’s name on their Valentine in the “from” section. Please leave the
“to” section empty (this will make it easier for the students to pass them out).
Please make sure you include enough Valentines for each student in the class.
We will be serving Valentine sugar cookies.

Please make sure to remit your child’s March tuition payment by Friday,
February 15 to avoid the $15 late fee.

 Please remember to check your child’s snack calendar.

                                         Odds & Ends

 February is National Low Vision Month!
If you’ve noticed your child experiencing problems seeing, hearing, or with
speaking, please take the time to contact your primary care physician or
optometrist to discuss having your child tested. Early intervention is
                                            important!

 Watch for the “Parent Praise” stationery.
Heart stationery will be sent home for you to write words of praise or encouragement to
your child. The note will be displayed on our “Parent Praise” board. Ms. Seye will read
the student praise notes to the class. Please place your child’s praise note in the
homework box located on the sign in/out table.

 Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Breakfast provides our children with the energy and nutrients that lead to
increased concentration in the classroom. It also provides energy for
activities during the morning and helps to prevent mid-morning slumps.

 The cold and flu season is upon us.
We’d like to remind parents to keep your child at home if they are ill.

 Please continue working with your child at home.
Classroom learning reinforced by parent involvement builds a strong team to
enrich your preschooler’s early childhood education.
