EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLAN
For your safety, please take a few minutes to read over the information on this page. In the
unlikely event that the hotel needs to be evacuated, it could prove to be a life saver.
NOTICES, CALL POINTS & FIRE EXITS.
There are ‘Fire Action’ notices displayed throughout the building that outline the steps to be taken in
the event of fire.
Please familiarize yourself with the location of:
• The fire notices displayed, they contain important information.
• Push-glass fire alarm call-point (small red box) they are situated by stairwells and exits.
• Escape routes and fire exits, highlighted by green signs.
• Fire Alarm Testing is conducted on Monday at 11am.
IF YOU DISCOVER A FIRE - PLEASE TRY NOT TO PANIC!!
• Raise the alarm by shouting FIRE! (to alert anyone in the immediate vicinity).
• Activate the nearest Push-glass fire alarm call-point (small red box, close to major exits).
• Where possible notify a member of staff, advise them of the nature and location of the fire -
they will contact the Emergency Services (Telephone: 999).
• Follow the evacuation plan as laid out below.
IF YOU HEAR THE EMERGENCY EVACUATION ALARM - PLEASE FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING
STEPS FOR YOUR SAFETY
• Leave the building by the nearest exit, highlighted by green signs, closing all doors behind
you as you leave.
• Do not attempt to collect or carry any personal belongings.
• Do not use lifts – use the staircases.
• Report to the Evacuation Assembly Point at Snax Restaurant on Linenhall Street, please familiarise
yourself with this location.
• Stay at the Assembly Point until you have been advised by the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue
Service it is safe to re-enter the building.
EVACUATION ASSISTANCE
If you feel you would require assistance in the case of an evacuation, please advise our receptionist.
