fundraising & development Once again we’ve enjoyed tremendous support from the community
over the course of the year.
Over 500 people filled the ballroom of Miramare Gardens in June for ‘An Evening of Music and Musings’, our 8th Eddie’s Big Night Out, run by the tireless Eddie’s Mates committee. Guests enjoyed a host of entertainment from Eddie’s Entertainers, Comedian MC Paul Martell, live band The Jury and Eddie’s own Patron, Tenor Michael Vaiasinni. Proceeds from what was a truly beautiful evening totalled a record $190,000, all of which goes towards our dynamic new program, Liberate. A wonderful result!

The Charity Challenge Golf Day finally went ahead in November having previously been postponed due to inclement weather. As always the golfers had a wonderful time out on the course and we are very grateful to Gary Dawson of Bullant Sports and his team, for their on-going support of our school.
We were delighted to host the breakfast meeting of another of our on-going supporters, Wahroonga Rotary Club. It’s always a pleasure to share a meal with the Rotarians with whom we have an avid interest in each other’s work. We are especially grateful to Wahroonga Rotary for recognising us as one of their causes worthy of funding.
We have received so much other generous support, from grants, shopping events, individual donations, other schools, and ‘heroes’ who have raised money on our behalf, to the team of AMP Bank employees who gave up their day to paint the school.
We would like to extend a big thank you to everyone involved in all our activities this year. Without you, we wouldn’t be the progressive and dynamic school our students enjoy today.
