SPECIAL EVENTS
THE KLAC SEPTATHLON – Exclusive to KLAC
The Septathlon is currently scheduled for Saturday 1 November 2025 in place of the regular Saturday program. Each child participates in 7 events comprising of both track and field (with exception of the 6 age group, who will only compete in 6 events). Points are awarded based on performances for each event, where the greater the achievement, the greater the number of points awarded. All participants will receive a special Septathlon ribbon showing their point score. These ribbons are distributed via the Age Managers 1-2 weeks after Septathlon.
As with any Saturday competition parents will be required to assist with set-up, the running of events, canteen, BBQ and pack-up. The program of the order of events will be published via the newsletter shortly prior to the Septathlon. Athlete practice is not permitted prior to the start of the Septathlon events.
The timing is as follows:
8:10am Parents to report for duty allocation 8:15am Athletes warm-up
8:30am First event to start
