Welcome to the brand-new virtual education series, Perfusion into Practice (PIP).
We aim to run this ‘45-minute zoom education series’ every few of months and bring you the answers to some of the leading questions in perfusion:
Q: Blood cardioplegia or crystalloid cardioplegia?
Q: Is it normal to feel sad, anxious, or angry after a death on the table?
Q: Why is going onto bypass similar to a plane taking off?
Most of us at some stage have had these questions throughout our perfusion careers, yet never found the answers – PIP is
built on the foundation of these often-ignored questions. National and International experts in the field will present on the topic. Feel free to bring along your favourite snack or beverage to enjoy, while you sit back and learn.
We want everyone from our perfusion community to benefit, so please feel free to send through other ideas or questions you want answered or discussed.
A question forum on our website will be available for members to send through their suggestions.
