Why did the Good Samaritan stop? What did he do for the man?

3) The Samaritan felt sorry for the man. He stopped, bent down to where he was lying, cleaned and dressed his wounds. He put the man on his own donkey to take him to a safe place.
Jesus is pleased when we stop to help others.
