If the team progresses past the Zone Championship it will be reviewed, and if necessary re-selected, in the lead up the Region Championship. The same process will occur if the team progresses from Region to the State Championship. This ensures that any athletes who were unable to accept initial selection or athletes who have improved their performances over the course of the season are considered again.
Exceptions
Progression to Next Championship
Any athletes who wish to be considered for relay selection but do not meet the requirements can submit their request in writing to the Championships Officer.
Athletes selected for these teams are expected to make themselves available for any relay specific training sessions organised by the Centre.
