This class offers a beginner insight into acting for the camera. We will discuss and perform TV and movie scenes.

Portland is a hot spot for TV and movie production! Have you ever considered auditioning? Join actor Randy Schulman of “Grimm” and “Wild” fame to gain beginner insight into acting for the camera. Discuss and perform TV and movie scenes, practice your dramatic chops and have a blast!

Improvisational Foundations Learn to play together as a team, create comedy as a cast, and discover how much fun the theatre can be! Through
a series of short form improv games
we’ll grow together and laugh together
in the process. Children will showcase the techniques they’ve learned in front of their friends and family on the final day of class.

Improvisational Comedy
We will delve into the main elements of Comedy: improvisational, physical and stand-up! We will set the groundwork for healthy technique in all disciplines and work together to learn how to build a cohesive ensemble. Participants will devise their own show to perform at the culmination of the course.
