Our belief at the Sellwood Community House is in the unlimited potential of children, it is at the heart of all we do. We believe that all children are budding scientists, artists, mathematicians, authors and scholars and have an inherent drive to learn and make a positive impact on the world. Here, your child will experience the magic that takes place when you meld a child’s natural sense of curiosity with thoughtfully planned learning experiences.
PRESCHOOL
Age: 3-4 | Price:$265
Day/Time: T/TH, 9 am-12 pm
A sweet, gentle preschool entry for our youngest learners. Play and creativity are our guiding principles at this stage, as children uncover the joys of learning and exploring.
EARLY KINDERGARTEN
Age: 4.5-6 | Price: $750
Day/Time: M-F, 9 am-1 pm
The classroom as the 3rd teacher is
a guiding principle in our early Kinder educational philosophy. Inspired by Reggio-Emilia and Montessori, our curriculum uses a project and nature- based approach to learning. We will guide the children through all main learning goals for a traditional Kinder environment with
a much larger focus on outdoor learning, imaginative play, project based learning and social and emotional health.
PRE KINDERGARTEN
Age: 4-5 | Price: $365
Day/Time: M/W/F, 9 am-12 pm
SCH Pre-K engages children’s love of learning while fostering their love of and need for play.
PRESCHOOL EXTENSION
Age: 3-5
Day/Time: M-F, 12 pm-2 pm
Stay and play a little longer! Each day will incorporate snack, rest and a special guided activity, such as yoga, process art and movement..
Price for Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten:
12 pm-2 pm | $20 per day
Price for Kindergarten:
1 pm-2 pm | $12 per day
