Die cutting is a broad term that covers many different types and techniques with the same goal of cutting a shape. Within craft, the term die cutting refers to a process in which a machine is used to produce the exact same shape, multiple times, on multiple occasions. In previous years, producing the same shape, in the same size with hand tools would have been a time consuming and often impossible task. Die cutting saves time and money for crafters but we can also gain those benefits through manufacturing processes.
