Lacy Daisy Easel
• Duo Dies Origins Nested Circles die set
• Duo Dies Pretty Bow die
• Duo Dies Mandala Lace Daisy die
• Cream card
• Yellow card
• Flower embellishments
Cut a 24cm x 13cm rectangle from cream card. Score and fold it in half. From the Nested Circles die set, take Circle 15 and place it onto your folded card, slightly over the fold. Die cut to create a circular card. Score and fold the card front in half to create an easel card.
Cut Circle 15 again from cream card. Stick onto the folded section to create the card front.
Cut the Daisy Frame die from the Mandala Lace Daisy, once from cream card and once from yellow.
Trim the fringe from the cream die cut and stick onto the yellow frame. Stick onto the card using foam pads. Cut the Daisy Ring die from yellow card. Using the Nested Circles, place Circle 11 carefully onto the daisy ring so that the lacy design is perfectly positioned within the circle. Cut to create an 8.7cm circle and stick onto the card using foam pads.
Cut Daisy Circle (the smallest die) from cream card. Use the Nested Circles again to cut Circle 6 around the lacy design. Stick onto the card.
Using the Pretty Bow die, cut two from cream and yellow card. Use some tape on the reverse of the cream die cut to keep all the waste bits in, but poke out the waste in the yellow die cut.
Stick the bows together with the yellow on top. Place on the inside of the card, ensuring that it will be in the right place to be a stopper for your easel. When you’re happy with the position, stick it down by the ‘tails’ of the bow, but leave the top half free to fold up and create the stopper for the easel to rest against it.
Stick your chosen flower embellishments onto the card to finish.
