All data stored in your software’s database in Amazon’s servers is stored in encrypted form. So, even if someone could access it, they could not read it. In addition, any data traveling over the internet to one of your connected devices is encrypted during transmission. The only place where any information exists in unencrypted form is in the display screens of your devices (workstations, mobile phones, Etc.). And the login access to those screens can be made as secure as you need them to be.
