Sunnyside Gazette Edition 5: “New Principal and New School Year at Sunnyside Elementary”

Summer vacation o cially came to an end today. Sunnyside Elemen- tary opened its doors to over 600 udents on the r day of school. Students were welcomed by new principal Noah Pack.
When asked if she is excited about the r day of school, pre-Kinder- garten udent Patricia said enthusia ically, “Yes! I have a new back- pack!”
Her older brother, James, was also enthusia ic. When asked what ex- cited him mo , he replied, “My teacher gave me a li of books to read over the summer. I read every single one! I’m ready to art reading chapter books this year.”
Principal Pack also has high hopes for his r year at Sunnyside. “I look forward to meeting all of the wonderful udents and families this week. Together, we will work to make Sunnyside Elementary the be school it can be.”
