Hello from your Outreach Committee!
I wanted to say hello as the new chair of the Outreach Committee.
This year hasn’t exactly been cooperating with our opportunities to help the Lexington community! With that being said, we are using Zoom to meet and are thinking outside the box.
As volunteering in the community is not an option right now, we are asking our committee and members to let us know when you see a need in your area. Just yesterday, Ronny Barnes and his team at Bleed Blue Landscaping delivered furniture to a family in need at one of our member properties. Bleed Blue Landscaping ran with the information and made a family a lot more comfortable because of their kindness! Pamela Ratliff with Johnson Controls also donated a $50 Walmart gift card so we can purchase items needed at the Catholic Action Center!
These are just some of the ways we are choosing to stay active during the craziest events of our lifetime. Stay safe and let us know if there are needs out there!
