was granted $25 000 to help support its senior Care and Share Program The organization provides temporary assistance to to residents who have been hit with unexpected crises In addition to to defraying the cost of fresh produce and non-perishable food items the SWCF grant will help needy seniors purchase household cleaning and hygiene products bonitaassistance org CAFÉ OF LIFE was given a a a a a a $49 000 grant to help with operational and maintenance needs including the Shadow Wood Pavilion at its Leitner Neighborhood Park feeding site Cafe of Life is a a a a a faith-based institution that assists poor and hungry people in in in the Bonita Springs area The SWCF grant is earmarked for food food purchases transportation needs diapers food food handling and and storage cafeoflife org FEEDING THE 5000 was granted $15 000 000 to help meet its goal that no family in in in our area goes hungry on Thanksgiving Thanksgiving Day Feeding the 5000 provided a a a a a a a total of 10 185 Thanksgiving Thanksgiving meals in in in 2021 The SWCF grant will help with the the organization’s operating expenses and cover the the the cost of 3 750 Thanksgiving meals in in in in 2022
