Comic Tom Arnold on the hunt for Donald Trump tapes
NEW YORK (AP) — Tom Arnold’s obsession with Pres- ident Donald Trump’s past is becoming a television series.
Vice Media said Wednesday that it is starting production
on a new series with the co- median called “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes.” With the infamous “Access Hollywood” outtakes as an inspiration, Arnold says he wants to look for other material left in the president’s past and probably in
entertainment company vaults. The Viceland cable network,
where the show will air, calls the series “All the President’s Men” crossed with “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
He announced it on How- ard Stern’s SiriusXM show. Stern is in possession of some intriguing Trump tapes of his own, based on the president’s appearances on the DJ’s raun- chy show.
Will Ferrell, Molly Shannon team up to cover royal wedding
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Queen Eliza- beth may not be pleased, but Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon are putting their own spin on the marriage of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle.
Ferrell and Shannon will cover the London wedding in character as Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan — broad- casters supposedly famous for reporting on Southern California’s annual Rose Parade.
In the Funny Or Die special airing on HBO, the pair will join Tim Meadows and other guests to cover the wedding proces- sion and general festivities.
Titled “The Royal Wedding Live with Cord and Tish!” the show airs live at 7:30 a.m. EDT May 19 and will repeat that evening.
Ferrell and Shannon are producers for the satiric look at the nuptials of the Brit- ish prince and American Markle, former star of the TV show “Suits.”
