MUSIC TECHNOLOGY CURRICULUM INTEGRATION with Michael Fein 3 graduate credits $1,050
This course is intended for elementary and secondary music educators who want to effectively integrate technology into the music curriculum. Throughout this course, participants will experience a variety of tech- nologies including audio recording/editing, MIDI recording/editing, music notation, music theory and ear training applications, video editing, and Google applications. Participants will learn the functionality of each application and, more importantly, how to use those applications with students to enhance music instruction. Participants will develop technology-based music classroom lesson plans that can be implemented in the teacher’s classroom. #7099

Teaching music with Noteflight Learn allows you and your students to create, record and share music in ways never before possible. This project-based course provides real-world training on using Noteflight Learn in the music classroom. This course is offered with or without graduate credit. Music educators will want to take this course to understand how to get the most out of Noteflight Learn and become a certified resource for other teachers. #7499
NOTEFLIGHT & SOUNDTRAP: A DYNAMIC MUSIC CREATION DUO with Stephanie Langol 3 graduate credits $1,050
Creativity – Composition – Collaboration! Using both notation and a digital audio workstation (DAW) opens up endless creative music-making possibilities. This course will take an in-depth view at combining tradi- tional notation with the power of multi-track MIDI and audio recording for developing basic musical concepts through the creative process of music composition. Noteflight and Soundtrap, the leaders in online collab- orative music software, seamlessly integrate for easy MIDI file export between programs, making it easy to migrate back and forth between both programs. Myriad projects will be explored, including designing col- laborative composition activities. This course is designed for all grade levels, and you will receive free access
to both Noteflight Learn and Soundtrap for the duration of the course. Upon completion, you will be eligible to receive Noteflight Learn Certification. #7479
