In this atmosphere of educational change, music teachers are being asked to wear multiple hats. This course is designed to help the band or orchestra educator with a few of the essentials for teaching choir. Directors will walk away realizing that they already have a number of the tools needed for success in the choral world, and will take away a few ideas. Students must attend 12.5 clock hours of clinic sessions and concerts for one graduate credit, or 25 clock hours for two credits. An electronic portfolio is required in order to receive graduate credit. Portfolios should include sum- maries and critiques of all sessions/workshops/concerts attended, as well as copies of all handouts, programs and other supporting materials.
