After purchasing the car from a private collection, Miki Biasion took the opportunity to restore the car to exactly how it was when he won the 1987 Rally Argentina. But not only Argentina, the other half of the car would be painted in its famous 1987 RAC Rally livery where Kankkunen won his second World Championship and Lancia their first of the Group A era. The first of an unbeaten run of six titles still unmatched today.
Miki and his team have fully restored the car with no bolt left unturned. Complete with its correct bolt in roll cage, R50 gearbox, IAW060 ECU and ignition electronics, the car is presented in turn key form. Ideal for any collection or ready to hit the stages once again. There is no one better than Miki Biasion to restore a Delta. Biasion, a two time World Champion with the Delta, who developed the car from the outset in 1986 right up until Lancia’s departure in 1992.
The car is complete with its Italian documents for its number plate TO 82878F, a copy of the Italian technical passport where each entry for rallies in Italy are recorded, an assortment of period images and documentation to support the cars history.
