Inside Possible
Applauding people pursuing their passions, with a helping hand.
Passion. It’s the fire within
us that propels us to achieve our dreams. It’s what gets us through life’s challenges and helps us appreciate the
things we strive towards.
This issue of Possible is about
breaking invisible boundaries to reach our goals, no matter what adversity we face. Through the stories in this issue, we meet inspiring people making an impact, guided by their
true passions.
We talk to Marnie, a young girl
getting back on her horse after losing her ability to walk and talk four years ago, about her big plans to compete in the Paralympics.
Next, we meet Beryl, who comes from a family of artists and has cerebral palsy. At the age of 39, she is living and working as a professional artist thanks to her incredible determination.
A voice for the disability community, one only needs to
look at Jordana’s impressive resume to see that her passion runs deep. Improving access and the rights of people with disabilities has been her life’s work, and it has made a huge impact in her local community.
We discover the secret behind achieving mobility goals by speaking to neurological physiotherapist, Anna Moriarty. The key? Knowing what’s important and putting in the work to get there.
Mother and son duo Casey and Verity from Just Better Care Central Coast are inspired by their team, their customers, and most of all each other. They tell us why they love working together in community care and why they are certain they are on the right career path.
Callum from Just Better Care Mornington channels his experience with his grandmother’s dementia
as motivation to deliver the best support possible to his community. He is inspired every day by the ability to provide the comfort his family lacked when dealing with a loved one’s care.
Motivated, inspiring, hard- working, passionate. These were just a few of the words used to describe this year’s National Possible Awards winners. Find out who they are and what they’ve achieved.
Finally, we share a few stories about the huge impact a little support can have in the lives of our customers.
