DIY Memories Smashbook

Photographs play an important role in life by connecting us to our past and reminding us of people, feelings, stories, and experiences. Learn how to make a smashbook to create a reflective memoir in this introductory workshop inspired
by IUSB’s 2019 Big Read selection, Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant? by Roz Chast. Participants are encouraged to bring photographs (copies preferred), stories, poems, recipes, drawings, or other mementos to tell their
personal story or the story of a loved one.

Attention aspiring novelists: weary of toiling alone? Join the MPHPL writer’s group to share your victories and struggles with a gathering of peers. Participants are encouraged to bring the first chapter of an original work for presentation, praise, and critique. Registration is required. Register once (found under the 3/7/19 date) to enroll for the entire March-May season.
