Dear Dwight Community,
As this academic year came to a close, it was an unprecedented moment for the entire world due to the global pandemic and a challenging time for everyone at Dwight School Dubai. I am so proud of the seamless transition we made to an online platform and how you embraced a new way of learning with resilience and enthusiasm. While we may have been physically separate, we remained connected virtually with the same spirit of togetherness, and learning continued unabated.
Indeed, we accomplished a great deal during the 2019-20 school year as a community. Dwight School Dubai was delighted to achieve accreditation as an IB Continuum School in only its second year! Our academically rigorous PYP, MYP, and DP curricula represent the finest global education programs in the world. Additionally, our school was the first to receive a license from the UAE for online learning, extending our cutting-edge programs to advance education on the ground and in the cloud.
I am also proud of how students excelled throughout the year in and beyond the classroom, exhibiting your many talents, passions, and skills. It was wonderful to see those shared with the entire Dwight family at collaborative global events, including the London Choral Festival, Carnegie Hall Concert, and online Visual Arts Exhibition. Your sparks of genius shone brightly!
With your countless achievements and our community’s commitment to innovation, Dwight School Dubai’s pioneering spirit is strong and we are well on the path to becoming the premier school in the region.
