"I really enjoyed every moment in the classroom and greeting my students in Spanish in the hallsways. They were so happy to use the target language so confidently. My favorite memory was sharing with all of the school community on International Day. Everyone was so happy and open to all of the differences that make us unique in our own way. Finally, to all of my students, in the words of Flora Lewis, ‘Learning another language is not only learning different words for the same things, but learning another way to think
about things.’”
